Ashok Abhayakumar, M.S., President

Prior to founding Ascon Health, Mr. Abhayakumar was Director of Business Strategy and Product Development at Inveresk Research Group (NASDAQ: IRGI) and ClinTrials Research (NASDAQ: CCRO). Mr. Abhayakumar has over 15 years of clinical development and management experience. He has held various senior management positions with growing responsibilities within both pharmaceutical and CRO companies. He has led several drug development initiatives and has been involved in over a 100 clinical programs. He has been involved in various capacities with several INDs, NDAs, and PMAs. He was also involved with several large clinical programs of the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). He obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering degree, and holds an M.S. degree in Biometrics and Cardiovascular Epidemiology from the University of Texas, Houston.

Hans Airee PharmD., Vice President, Commercial Operations Consulting

Dr. Airee bring 23 years of Commercial Pharmaceutical experience to Ascon Health where he helps clients delivery business results through maximizing customer and clinical insights. His consulting is focused on strategic planning, product positioning, launch readiness, commercial advisory boards and competitive analysis. During his career at GSK he was responsible for the Key Opinion Leader lunch for ADVAIR DISKUS, policy change related to CFC transition, building out the respiratory portfolio in the US. Additionally, he brings alliance and DTC experience through his work on the Sally Field DTC campaign for BONIVA. Most recently Hans was a Commercial Sales Vice-President responsible for the primary care launch of GSK newest line of respiratory products. Hans received BS in Chemistry and Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Tennessee. He has also completed a Executive Education Program in Marketing from Wharton University.

Steven Ford, Ph.D., Vice President, Regulatory Strategy

Dr. Steven Ford has over 20 years experience developing novel and cutting edge biologics and drugs in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Ford's has specifically been involved in progressing 12 products through development to market application (NDA, ANDA, MAA equivalents & CE mark). Having worked with the FDA, the European Commission and other regulatory agencies across the world Dr. Ford thoroughly understands the regulatory and CMC requirements in the industry. Previously he has held senior and executive positions at leading companies such as Amgen, Chimeric Therapies and Ethical Pharmaceuticals. He obtained a Ph.D. in Microbial Biochemistry and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry with Pharmacology from University of Southampton, UK.

Rodney Pares, B.Engg., Manager India Operations

For Ascon Health, Rodney works closely with the Clinical and Programming teams to assure editing guidelines are met. He effectively organizes, prioritizes and distributes work in order to produce accurate database transfers in line with project schedules and clinical target dates. Having worked with Ascon Health and being technically qualified and experienced in handling of skilled personnel, he supervises work of project staff by checking the consistency of data editing using study and standard guidelines, creation of queries and updating the database. He obtained a B.E. degree in Industrial Engineering from Bangalore University.

Sasidaran, B.Sc., Clinical Programming

For Ascon Health, Sasidaran is responsible for the delivery and development of systems for clinical registry programs. Prior to joining Ascon Health Sasidaran held technical positions at ReinForce Tech and Arc-Max Technologies. He has through understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery, PHP, Java, .NET, SQL & SAS. He brings tremendous value to our pharmaceutical and device clients by working with them closely to make their clinical system experience user friendly and productive. He has a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Periyar University.

Sankaranarayan, M.E, SAS Programming Services

Mr. Sankaranarayanan has over 4 years of experience in both Prospective and Retrospective Clinical Studies for drug and medical devices. He is experienced in operational process of Clinical Data Management and is been involved in Annotating TGL shells, generating Tables, Listings, and Graphs for FDA Regulatory submission using SAS. He holds an M.E. degree in Computer Science from Anna University.
